Despite the increased expenses we've encountered, I am pleased to announce that there will be no rate adjustments this year. However, in order to maintain this stability and keep our services accessible to everyone, we find it necessary to implement a limit on the number of bags for disposal.

Effective immediately, we kindly request that households using 33-gallon bags adhere to a limit of four bags per week, while those using small white kitchen bags adhere to a limit of eight bags per week. I understand the inconvenience this may pose, but please consider the alternative of facing further rate increases.

It's essential to highlight the importance of fair distribution, particularly for families using smaller bags. Imagining the impact of additional charges on households that diligently adhere to their limits reinforces our commitment to fairness.

I want to bring to your attention the financial strain on our end, especially as I personally covered expenses for excess trash disposal last year. This doesn't even account for fuel, worker's pay, or truck maintenance. In order for our business to remain sustainable, we must address these challenges collectively.

Effective immediately, we will strictly enforce the 4-bag/8-bag limit per week. It is crucial that these limits are not exceeded, as exceeding 250 pounds per week accumulates to half a ton per month. The current $30 monthly fee falls short of covering this additional expense.

Should you have extra garbage, furniture, or bulky items, I kindly request that you contact Michele at 558-4304 beforehand. This will help us better manage and accommodate any additional items.
